'The Architectural History of the Keats-Shelley House' by Nils Oudshoorn

 

The talk will be given by KSH intern, Nils Oudshoorn, on the architectural history of 26, Piazza di Spagna, the home of the Keats-Shelley Museum. Based on archival research carried out at the House, this talk will look at significant periods of the building's history within the wider landscape of Piazza di Spagna and the Spanish Steps.

Nils Oudshoorn is a postgraduate student in Building History at the University of Cambridge. He holds a BSc in Architecture and a BA in Art History. His interests lie with English and Italian architecture and travel in the 18th and 19th centuries, and the exchange of architectural styles and ideas between both England and Italy.
